CityFit Brentford Deadlift Showdown

The Brentford Barbell Club is excited to announce the CityFit Brentford Deadlift Showdown, scheduled for November 9th, 2024! Hosted at CityFit Brentford, this event promises to bring together some of the strongest lifters in the area for an epic display of power and determination. Participants will compete across four categories: Pro Male, Pro Female, Amateur Male, and Amateur Female, with categories based on deadlift openers (200kg+ for Pro Male, 150kg+ for Pro Female). Using the McCulloch Formula, each lifter’s performance will be scored, taking into account both body weight and age for fair and exciting competition. Prizes totaling over £300 will be awarded, with the first lift starting at 12:00 PM. Come witness the incredible talent of Brentford Barbell Club members and athletes from beyond.
